International Standard(國際委員會)所立，全名是Information document-Format for information exchange資訊交換用的格式
4.卡片格式 (ISBD)  (書本上看到的)

MARC1經過修訂後的格式, 就是大家熟知的MARC II,現在的USMARC，美國再變成MARC 21
1986年的資料顯示, 已有21個國家圖書館將國家書目以機讀編目格式發行磁帶Inte, 大約有14種不同的規格。到了1995年, 至少有60個國家的國家圖書館發行該國的磁帶機讀編目格式; 其中, 一半採用 USMARC 格式(帝國主義壓迫), 四分之一採用 UNIMARC 格式, 其它的四分之一採用 UK MARC、MAB、InterMARC等格式。

以 UNIMARC 格式為底稿，於1980年元月出版中文圖書機讀編目格式第一版(太差)，於同年7月，出版修訂第二版。
1981年8月出版的中國機讀編目格式，採納地圖、視聽資料等非書資料；1984年出版了第二版，主要係採納 UNIMARC Handbook 的部份內容，1989年10月出版之第三版中國89，則以 UNIMARC Manual 為藍本，成為大多數圖書館系統採用的標準。
1994年的時候，中央標準局將中國機讀編目格式第三版的內容，收入成為中國國家標準的一員CNS13226

三、2010年ISBD的目標為何？

The primary purpose of the ISBD is to provide the stipulations for compatible descriptive cataloguing worldwide in order to aid the international exchange of bibliographic records between national bibliographic agencies and throughout the international library and information community.
By specifying the elements that comprise a bibliographic description and by prescribing the order in which those elements should be presented, and secondarily the punctuation by which they should be separated, the ISBD aims to:
• make records from different sources interchangeable, so that records produced in one country can be easily accepted in library catalogues or other bibliographic lists in any other country;
• assist in the interpretation of records across language barriers, so that records produced for users of one language can be interpreted by users of other languages;
• assist in the conversion of bibliographic records to electronic form;
• enhance interoperability with other content standards.

The title proper is the first element of the area even when it is preceded on the prescribed source of information by statements of responsibility, edition statements, series statements, publication/distribution statements, date, price or other matter that is not title proper information.


五、何謂著者敘述？

Statement of Responsibility
A statement of responsibility consists of one or more names, phrases, or groups of characters relating to the identification and/or function of any persons or corporate bodies responsible for or contributing to the creation or realisation of the intellectual or artistic content of a work contained in the resource described.

這次上課老師發下了期中考考卷，自己雖然有一題得到10分，但有許多題都是1分2分，自己需要在更加努力才行，看到有許多人拿到10分，覺得他們真不容易
但老師也說了，分數不是依據，要看自己得到了什麼而不是去追求分數

＊國際書目著錄標準(International Standard Bibliographic Descriptions)的源起, 要從1969 年說起。藉以規範書目著錄的形式及內容。

＊IFLA成立ISBD修定委員會, 於1981年正式規畫, 定期審視及修訂圖書、連續性出版品、靜畫資料及非書資料等ISBD。該委員會有三個主要目標:

(1)協調各ISBD, 增加其一致性;

(2)改進例子;

(3)加 強對非羅馬語系的編目員的支持。當年的短期目標是:

  (a)檢視等號的使用方法;

  (b)考慮國際音樂圖書館員學會對ISBD(NBM)的需求。至1980年代底, 以上兩個短期目標都已達成。

ISBD(G)

＊範圍

ISBD(G)列舉圖書館常見資源的著錄細目, 指定其順序, 規定著錄的標點符號。

ISBD(G)是其他ISBD的基礎, 包括印本及電子的連續資源及圖書。各國應以此為依據, 制定自己的編目規則; 不建議直接使用ISBD(G)為編目的依據。

ISBD(G)關心國家級書目機構的書目記錄, 以及其他機構的書目記錄。

＊目標

ISBD主要的目標是明定全球相容的敘述書目記錄, 幫助國家書目機構在國際間互相交換書目記錄。藉由規範著錄的細目、順序、標點符號, 期望達成三個目標:

a)不同來源的書目資料, 得以互相交換, 甲國的書目資料可以輕易的被乙國的圖書館接受;

b)跨越語文障礙, 即使不認識該語文, 仍可識得其記錄的內容;

c)協助轉換傳統形式的書目記錄為電子形式的書目記錄。

＊符號規定：除了第一項的第一個細目外, 每個細目之前需有規定的標點符號, 或整個細目必須置於規定的標點符號之內(參見0.43的其他例外)。規定的標點符號前後均需空一格, 逗點(,)及圓點(.)祗需於後方空一格。
